डीपीएस का छत्तीसगढ़ को जानो शैक्षणिक भ्रमण दल घूमा खूंटाघाट



दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल, बिलासपुर में पाठ्येत्तर शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों के अंतर्गत नर्सरी से बारहवीं तक के शिक्षार्थी संस्था के उद्देष्यों के निर्धारित कार्यक्रम के तहत कक्षा सातवीं के छात्र-छात्राओं का दल बिलासपुर के निकट दर्शनीय स्थल खूंटाघाट भ्रमण करने गया । प्रकृति के सुरम्य वातावरण में मनोरंजन के साथ शिक्षा पर बल दिया गया । इस दल का नेतृत्व श्रीमती बनानी बंधोपाध्याय ने किया। साथ में डाॅ श्रीमती कमोद जैन, निरूपा विश्वास, डाॅ0 सीमा भट्टाचार्य, श्रीमती जयश्री नायर, श्री सुरेश दिवाकर, श्री पंकज प्रधान एवं श्री आलोक पांडे ने बच्चों का मार्गदर्शन किया। संस्था प्राचार्य के निर्देशानुसार प्रत्येक सत्र में सभी कक्षाओं का इच्छुक विद्यार्थियों का दल पूर्व निर्धारित स्थलों का भ्रमण करेगा, ताकि छत्तीसगढ़ की गौरवशाली अतुल्य विरासत को भली-भांति जानन और समझने का अवसर प्राप्त हो सके। इस अवसर पर संस्था प्राचार्य नौसेना कप्तान सलिल बैरन रे, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी कर्नल धर्मवीर सिंह, समन्वयिका श्रीमती राजरीत रे तथा छात्रावास अधीक्षिका श्रीमती निमी सिंह ने छात्र-छात्राओं के दल को बधाईयां दी।

A picnic to Kutaghat was conducted for students of Class-VII of DPS Bilaspur on 11th Feb 2012 Saturday. Nine teachers escorted the children. A short visit was also made to the Mahamaya temple at Ratanpur also. The picnic was really enjoyable. The group heartily thanks the Management and the Principal - Capt SBRay for such a wonderful exposure which they brought in their day to day routine life.

DPS BILASPUR CELEBRATES REPUBLIC DAY



63rd Republic day was celebrated at DPS, Bilaspur with great zeal and patriotic fervour. Chief guest Principal Capt.(IN) S. B. Ray and the guest of honour Admn. Offr. Lt. Col. D. V. Singh initiated the proceedings with the unfurling of the National Tricolour followed by the National Anthem. The sun playing Hide and Seek and the pleasant weather were the perfect backdrop for the March Past of the four houses of the school led by the Vice Head Boy Anant Pandey and Vice Head Girl Aditi Dubey. School choir rendered patriotic songs which set the tempo for the speech by Bhaskar Nalotia. With a couple of patriotic songs the stage was set for a wonderful dance drama tracing the valour of “Jhansi ki Rani” and the story of freedom.

The CCA prize distributions took place at the hands of Principal Capt.(IN) S. B. Ray, Admn. Officer Lt.Col. Dharamveer Singh, Acad.Coordinator Mrs.Rajreet Ray, Warden Mrs. Nimmi Singh and parents present on the occasion.The programme ended with a happy note with the distribution of sweets to the students.

डीपीएस में गणतंत्र दिवस हर्षोल्लास से मनाया गया



डीपीएस बिलासपुर में संस्था प्राचार्य नौसेना कप्तान सलिल बैरन रे ने गणतंत्र दिवस की पावन बेला में राष्ट्रध्वज को फहराते हुए ब्रम्हपुत्र, गंगा, कावेरी तथा नर्मदा सदन के मार्चपास्ट की सलामी ली । देशभक्ति गीत की भावभीनी प्रस्तुति और छात्र भास्कर नालोटिया ने भाषण प्रस्तुत किया । झांसी की रानी की गीतिनाट्य की शानदार प्रस्तुति ने सबका मन मोह लिया। संस्था प्राचार्य कप्तान रे ने उपस्थित छात्र-छात्राओं, अभिभावको , अतिथियों एवं शिक्षकों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि-‘आज हम 63 वां गणतंत्र दिवस मना रहे हैं जो हमारे लिए अत्यंत ही हर्ष एवं गौरव की बात है। इस देश का गणतंत्र हमारे लिए ही नहीं बल्कि पूरे विश्व के लिए आदर्श एवं अनुकरणीय है। भारतीय संविधान का ढांचा जिसकी नींव भारत के चैतन्य पुरुषों के अथक प्रयास, मेहनत, लगन एवं बलिदान का परिणाम है। ऐसे महान पुरुषों को हम आज हृदय से आभार प्रकट करते हुए श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पित करते हैं। इस अवसर पर इसी संस्था के मेधावी विद्यार्थियों को विभिन्न कला-कौशल के लिए प्रषस्ति-पत्र पदान कर उन्हें सम्मानित किया गया। सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम के साथ कार्यकम का समापन हुआ। इस अवसर पर संस्था समन्वयिका श्रीमती राजरीत रे, प्रषासनिक अधिकारी कर्नल श्री धर्मवीर सिंह एवं छात्रावास अधीक्षिका श्रीमती निमी सिंह ने सभी को कोटि-कोटि बधाई दी।

DPS BILASPUR- PICNIC ORGANISED FOR CLASS VI AT KANAN PENDARI



On Saturday,14th of January 2012, DPS , Bilaspur had organized a picnic for the students of class VI at Kanan Pendari. A remarkable number of one hundred and fifty students and eight teachers became an integral part of this exciting tour. Students took immense pleasure while visiting the zoological garden and meeting its occupants. Various games were organized for the students in which they participated with great energy and enthusiasm. Teachers were also an inevitable part of this picnic who gave their support and utmost effort to make it a successful one. The day became a memorable day for the students.

DPS BILASPUR-PICNIC AT KHUTAGHAT



14th Jan 2012: Delhi Public School, Bilaspur organized a wonderful picnic for Class X. to Khutaghat Dam which is about 36 Kms away from Bilaspur. On Saturday 14th January 2012 the group comprising 36 boys and 49 girls started for the picnic from DPS, Bilaspur at 9.00 am.

On the way to Khutaghat,, the group halted at Ratanpur to offer prayers to Goddess Mahamaya. After that they proceeded to Ram Tekri which is a small hill with a temple at its top. Students enjoyed trekking up and down the steep hill of about 2Km. Later the group reached Khutaghat Dam which is a picturesque location. All the students enthusiastically enjoyed various games organized at the Vrindavan Garden (next to the dam) and won many prizes. After enjoying a delicious lunch beside the Ghutang river, the group winded up at 3.00 pm to return.

The picnic party was escorted by the Principal Capt.(IN) S.B.Ray, Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Mr.Manoj Kashyap, Ms.Neety Sharma, Ms Sukanya Mukherjee, Ms Gargi Mukherjee, Ms Sonia Abraham, Ms Denise Wesley Mr Shantanu Ghosh and Mr Deepak Puraina.

All the students enjoyed a lot and captured many pictures and returned with unforgettable memories.

QUIZ CONTEST HELD IN DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, BILASPUR



Dipsites displayed their immense talent and up-to-date awareness as a Quiz Contest was held in Delhi Public School, Bilaspur for Group E (Class VI – VIII) and Group F (Class IX – XII). It was a highly entertaining competition which apart from providing amusement to the students enriched their knowledge as well. The audience students were also involved in the quiz which made them connected enthusiastically.

There were four rounds viz. General, Choice of Subject, Audio and Rapid Fire Round and the questions comprised almost all the fields of knowledge, current affairs, movies, sports, songs and all academic subjects.

In the mind boggling battle of brain, Ganges House managed to emerge as winners in Group E with participants Aditya Agrawal, Praveen Gupta and Siddharth Puniya. Kaveri House and Brahmaputra House secured the second and third spots respectively.

In Group F. the competition turned tougher as the students of Class IX and above were involved. In the close contest of competence, Brahmaputra House with participants Vikas Tiwari, Aditya Vikram Singh and Ashutosh Balakrishna could ultimately bag the first prize. The second position went to Ganges House and third position was won by Narmada House.

The programme was organized very well by CCA incharge Ms Gargi Mukherjee and very well compeered by competent quiz masters, Dr Rashmi Diwedi, Ms Laxmi Pandey, Mr Sanjay Patil and Mr Jaspal Singh.

Present on the occasion were Principal Capt.(IN) S.B.Ray, Administrative Officer Lt.Col D.V.Singh, Academic Co ordinator Ms Rajreet Ray. They congratulated the participants and wished the best for their future.

Birth Anniversary of Late Choudhary Mitrasen Arya observed at DPS Bilaspur



Delhi Public School Bilaspur observed the 80th birth anniversary of Late Choudhary Mitrasen Aryaji, the founder of DPS Bilaspur and many other schools and institutes spread all over India. Principal Captain (IN) Salil B. Ray in his speech, recalled the Social, Educational and the Charity works of Late Choudhary Mitrasen Aryaji and encouraged the students to follow his path. Administrative Officer Lt. Col. Dharamveer Singh, Coordinator Mrs.Rajreet Ray and Mrs. Nimmi Singh were also present at the occasion and paid their felicitations by garlanding the portrait of Choudhary Mitrasen Arya Ji. The Teaching Staff and the School Appointees (Students) also paid their tributes by offering flowers.

डीपीएस बिलासपुर में चैधरी मित्रसेन सिंधु जी आर्य का मनाया गया भव्य जन्मोत्सव



दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल,बिलासपुर में सिंधु एजूकेशन सोसायटी एवं उद्योग समूह के अधिष्ठाता और संस्थापक श्री चैधरी मित्रसेन जी आर्य के जन्मोत्सव का आयोजन बड़ी धूमधाम से आयोजित किया गया । विशेष प्रार्थना सभा के आयोजन में सर्वप्रथम राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी के प्रिय भजन वैष्णव जन ते तथा रघुपति राघव राजा राम गीत की समूह गायन प्रस्तुत किया गया।

संस्था प्राचार्य नौसेना कप्तान सलिल बैरन रे, समन्वयिका श्रीमती राजरीत रे, प्रषासनिक अधिकारी कर्नल धर्मवीर सिंह एवं छात्रावास अधीक्षिका श्रीमती निमी सिंह जी ने श्रद्धेय श्री चैधरी जी की तस्वीर के समक्ष दीप प्रज्ज्वलन तथा माल्यार्पण किया । संस्था के विभागाध्यक्षों, सदन प्रमुखों तथा छात्र संघ के मनोनीत छात्र-छात्राओं ने भी पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की।

संस्था प्राचार्य कप्तान रे ने अपने भावोद्बोधन में चैधरी जी के जीवन वृत्त पर प्रकाश डालते आर्यजी की कर्मठता, समाजसेवा, धर्मनिष्ठा, राष्ट्रसेवा, राष्ट्रभाषा के प्रति समर्पण, आदिवासियों तथा उद्योग क्षेत्रों में रत कर्मचारियों के प्रति विषेष सहयोगात्मक कार्यों की अद्भुत झाँंकी प्रस्तुत की । उद्योग तथा शिक्षा रत्न के रूप में श्रद्धेय मित्रसेन जी की जीवनी और संस्मरणों के महत्त्वपूर्ण अंशो को सुनकर विद्यार्थी और शिक्षकगण आविभूत हो गए । शपथ-ग्रहण और राष्ट्रगान के उपरांत भव्य आयोजन के समाप्ति की घोषणा की गई । इस अवसर पर संस्था के छात्र-छात्राएँ एवं समस्त शिक्षक-शिक्षिकाएं उपस्थित थे ।

British Council’s English Road Show 2011 at DPS Bilaspur


DPS Bilaspur was a hub of activity on 10 Dec 2011 with the English Road Show 2011 for Bilaspur, underway. Organized by the British Council in partnership with the English Language Teachers’ Association of India ,this one -day professional development workshop for English language teachers and trainers was a most awaited event as eminent ELT professionals from the British Council and ELTAI were to conduct five interactive sessions focusing on enhanced classroom teaching skills and exploring innovative approaches to teaching of English. Add to that the fact that Bilaspur was one of the 12 cities in India chosen by the British Council to host this event. And so it was that over 326 participants from the various schools and colleges of Bilaspur, not only from Chhattisgarh but from neighbouring states – Jharkhand, M.P. and Orissa, started trickling in for this enriching workshop.

The host school choir with their welcome song set the tone for the day’s events with the formal welcome by the Principal- Capt. S.B.Ray.Apart from the participants, he also welcomed the ELT professionals as the resource persons He also emphasized on the importance of providing such a platform to share experiences, ideas and keep abreast of the latest ELT techniques, for the Teachers of English and the Teacher Trainers . Ms.Daphne Pawelec, Senior Training Consultant British Council, later spoke about the role of the British Council in providing such platforms. She went on to outline the day’s schedule.. ELTAI Co-ordinator Dr.G.A.Ghanshyam spoke about ELTAI & its purpose and various activities. Admin. Officer-Lt Col DV Singh and Acad .Coordinator-Mrs Rajreet Ray were also present on the occasion.

Thereafter, it was a systematic movement of grouped participants into the 10 assigned rooms for themes as Improving Pronunciation, Exploring Effective Classroom Management Techniques, Teaching Young Learners English, Integrating Language Skills, Getting the Most Out of a Reading Text & Bringing the World into the Classroom. M/S Macmillan Publishers also put up a display of their books & periodicals. The workshop drew to a close with the distribution of participation certificates. An exhausted but thoroughly motivated and charged teaching force echoed the success of the workshop.

एल्टाई द्वारा डी. पी. एस. में अंग्रेजी कार्यशाला संपन्न


आज प्रातः 9 बजे डी. पी. एस. बिलासपुर प्रांगण में ब्रिटिष कौंसिल के एल्टाई संस्था द्वारा आयोजित अंग्रेजी कार्यशाला का शुभारम्भ हुआ। कार्यषाला में उपस्थित विषिष्ट सम्माननीय अतिथिगण ब्रिटिष कौंसिल एल्टाई सदस्या श्रीमती डैफनेे , बिलासपुर एल्टाई संयोजक श्री घनष्याम जी , संस्था प्राचार्य कैप्टन सलिल बी. रे संस्था के प्रषासनिक अधिकारी कर्नल डी. वी. सिंह की गरिमामय उपस्थिति के साथ स्वागत गीत के माध्यम से कार्यशाला का शुभारम्भ किया गया। तत्पष्चात प्राचार्य कैप्टन रे ने एल्टाई द्वारा डी. पी. एस. बिलासपुर को कार्यशाला के आयोजन हेतु चयनितकर गौरवान्वित करने हेतु ह्दय से आभार व्यक्त करते हुए धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया।

ब्रिटिश काउंसिल सदस्या श्रीमती डैफने ने आयोजित कार्यषाला की एकदिवसीय श्रृंखला बद्ध रूपरेखा बताई और प्रतिभागियों को प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान किए जाने की जानकारी दी।

बिलासपुर एल्टाई संयोजक श्री घनष्याम जी ने विगत 1974 से कार्यरत एल्टाई एवं ब्रिटिष काउंसिल सदस्यता की उपयोगिता से प्रतिभागियों को अवगत कराया एवं सदस्यता हेतु आवष्यक प्रक्रिया से अवगत कराकर सदस्यता के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया । तत्पष्चात श्रीमती डैफने ने प्रतिभागियों को आबंटित कक्षाओं में प्रथम सत्र हेतु गमन करने का अनुरोध किया।

क्रमानुसार पाॅंच सत्रों में प्रतिभागियों को विषिष्ट रिसोर्स पर्सन द्वारा भाषा की गुणवता को सुधारने एवं भाषा में दक्षता हासिल करने के उपाय बताए गए। कार्यषाला के पाॅंच सत्रीय एकदिवसीय आयोजन में अंग्रेजी विषय के षिक्षकों को बेहतर जानकारी एवं नई विधियों से अध्ययन कराए जाने हेतु प्रेरित किया गया।

अंत में सभी प्रतिभागियों को प्रमाण पत्र प्रदानकर कार्यशाला का समापन किया गया। कार्यशाला का सफल संयोजन डाॅं प्रेरणा हीराधर एवं सत्र संयोजिका श्रीमती राजरीत रे के द्वारा किया गया।

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS


Children’s Day was celebrated in Delhi Public School, Bilaspur on 14th November 2011.Principal Capt S B Ray showed his gratitude to Nehruji with garlanding his photo and lighting the lamp.

On this occasion the teachers sang a song for the children. Shourya Agrawal of Class-II ‘C’ appeared on the stage as Nehruji and recited a poem. The teachers entertained the children by organizing a Hindi Skit. Mr.P.Chandrakar, Mr.P.Pradhan, Mrs Anita Srivatsava, Mrs Monika Chaturvedi, Mrs Sushma Mohanty, Mrs Bhargavi R, Miss Shilpi Banerji were the participants under the guidance of Dr. Rashmi Dwivedi. A short and sweet speech was given by Mrs. Denise Wesley followed by a solo dance performed by the dance teacher Mrs. Mahua Nandi. Principal Capt. S.B.Ray greeted the children and blessed them. Sweets were distributed to all the children.

बाल दिवस पर डी.पी.एस. में हुआ रंगारंग कार्यक्रम


अपनी परम्परा को बकरार रखते हुए डी.पी.एस. में इस वर्ष भी बाल दिवस पर अध्यापक - गणों द्वारा रंगारंग कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किया गया। दीप प्रज्जवलन से कार्यक्रम शुभारंभ प्राचार्य नौसेना कैप्टन सलिल बी.रे. द्वारा किया गया। इसके पश्चात षिक्षकों ने समूह गान प्रस्तुत किया । एकांकी द्वारा शिक्षकों ने गुरू और शिष्य के संबंधों और आदर्श विद्यार्थी के गुणों को प्रदर्षित किया। विद्यालय की नृत्य - शिक्षिका ने रवीन्द्र संगीत पर नृत्य कर बच्चों का मन मोह लिया। विद्यालय की दूसरी पाली में भी शिक्षिकाओं ने समूह गान प्रस्तुत किया।

शाला प्राचार्य कैप्टन रे ने पंडित नेहरू के जीवन के आदर्षों को अपनाने की न केवल पे्ररणा दी साथ ही बच्चों को आधुनिक भारत की नींव भी कहा। शाला समन्वयक श्रीमती राजरीज रक एवं शाला प्रबंधक कर्नल धर्मवीर सिंह ने भी विद्यार्थीयों को बाल दिवस की शुभकामनाएॅं दीं। इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों में मिठाई का वितरण भी किया गया।

PRE- PRIMARY WING CELEBRATED ‘RED DAY’ IN DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL.



Delhi Public School celebrated ‘Red Day’ on 22nd September 2011 for bringing out the importance of the colour-RED. The classrooms and the corridors were beautifully decorated by the teachers with different types of red objects. Teachers also impressed the children about uses of red colour objects in our day to day life.

Children were looking pretty in their red colour dresses and took part in various activities related to red colour. More than 75 parents visited the school on this ‘Red Day’ and appreciated the activities of the school and the whole theme. Some of the parents also participated in a few activities.

Principal Capt.(I.N) S.B.Ray appreciated the activities conducted during the day and congratulated all the teachers for contributing wholeheartedly. Administrative Officer Lt. Col. Dharamveer Singh ,Co-ordinator Mrs Rajreet Ray and Hostel Warden Mrs Nimi Singh also commended the show. On the whole, ‘RED DAY’ was a real memorable and a successful day!

डीपीएस में नौनिहालों ने मनाया रेड-डे



दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल बिलासपुर में प्री-प्रायमरी विंग के बच्चों ने रेड-डें अत्यंत हर्षोल्लास व आनंदपूर्वक मनाया । इस अवसर पर बच्चों ने लाल रंग की वस्तुओं के बारे में जानकारी प्राप्त की तथा लाल रंग के वस्त्र भी पहने । विभिन्न प्रकार की गतिविधियों का आयोजन इसका खास आकर्षण का विषय रहा । रेड-डे के अवसर पर उपस्थित अभिभावकों की उपस्थिति गतिविधियों में सहभागिता और सहयोग उल्लेखनीय रहा । प्री-प्रायमरी विंग को उत्सवी रंग देने के लिए विभिन्न तरह के लाल रंग की वस्तुओं से सुसज्जित किया गया ।

‘FRUIT DAY’ CELEBRATED IN DPS, BILASPUR



Pre-Primary Wing of DPS Bilaspur, celebrated “Fruit Day” on 22nd July 2011. On this occasion, children learnt about different fruit names , their colours and their taste. Also various fruit nutrients were described by the children. The students enthusiastically coloured various pictures of fruits and how to make “Fruit salad” was taught by the teachers.

The enthusiasm and zeal of the children was remarkable and was appreciated by our Principal- Capt.[I.N] S.B Ray, Administrative Officer- Lt. Col. Dharmveer Singh and Co-Ordinator Mrs. Rajreet Ray. All the P.P.W teachers contributed to this big day.

दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल मे मनाया गया ‘ फ्रूट डे ’



दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल बिलासपुर के्र प्री प्राइमरी विंग के बच्चों ने 22.07.11 को फ्रूट डे मनाया। इस अवसर पर बच्चों ने फलों के नाम ,रंग तथा उनके गुणों की जानकारी प्राप्त की । बच्चों ने फलों के चित्रों में रंग भरे तथा फ्रूट सलाद बनाना सीखा । बच्चों ने फलों की विशेषताएं बताईं और बहुत आनंद उठाया । बच्चों का प्रयास बड़ा ही सराहनीय एवं उत्साहवर्धक रहा।

इस उपलक्ष्य पर प्राचार्य नौसेना कप्तान सलिल बैरन रे, प्रषासनिक अधिकारी कर्नल धर्मवीर सिंह तथा को-आॅर्डिनेटर श्रीमति राजरीत रे ने प्री. प्राइमरी विंग के सभी बच्चों को प्रोत्साहित किया । इस अवसर पर प्री. प्राइमरी विंग के सभी शिक्षिकाओं ने अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज की ।

12 जुलाई का दिन डी. पी. एस. के विद्यार्थियों के लिए खास रहा। सत्र् 2011-2012 के लिए छात्रसंघ के महत्तवपूर्ण पदों पर छात्र-छात्राओं की नियुक्तियाँ की गईं, साथ ही शपथ-ग्रहण समारोह का आयोजन भी किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के तौर पर जिला पंचायत के सी. ई. ओ. श्री भूवनेश यादव जी - आई ए एस उपस्थित थे। सर्वप्रथम स्वागत गीत प्रस्तुत किया गया। तत्पष्चात प्राचार्य कैप्टन सलील बेरन रे ने अपने स्वागत भाषण में मुख्य अतिथि श्री यादव जी का स्वागत करते हुए शाला की उपलब्धियों की जानकारी दी। इसके पश्चात छात्रसंघ के पदाधिकारियों ने सत्य एवं निष्ठा की षपथ ली जिसमें विद्यालय के चारों सदनों के पदाधिकारी भी शामिल थे। अपने उद्बोधन में श्री यादव जी ने विद्याथियों को संकल्पित होकर भविष्य के लिए मेहनत करने की सलाह दी तथा संपूर्ण व्यक्तित्व विकास को विद्यार्थियों के लिए आवष्यक बताया। छात्रसंघ के पदाधिकारियों का चुनाव दो समूहों में किया गया है। सीनियर में हेड ब्वाय-शेखर श्रीवास्तव, हेड गर्ल-प्रत्युषा जैन, वाइस हेड ब्वाय- अनंत पांडे, वाइस हेड गर्ल- अदिति दुबे को चुना गया। कल्चरल सेक्रेटरी- मीत ठक्कर और वैषाली के कामथ, स्पोट्स कैप्टन-प्रांषु अवस्थी एवं आर्ची अग्रवाल को बनाया गया। जुनियर वर्ग में रोक्तिम मिश्रा और तान्या अब्राहम हेड ब्वाय और हेड गर्ल के पद पर नामांकित किए गए। वहीं राजबीर चावला, हिमांषी छाबरा, आर्यन राठौर, जोया तनवीर, अभिषेक मित्तल और सौम्या सिंह को भी बैज दिए गए।

इस कार्यक्रम में समन्वयक श्रीमती राजरीत रे, प्रबंधक- कर्नल धर्मवीर सिंह एवं श्रीमती निम्मी सिंह विशेष रूप से उपस्थित थे। शाला परिवार की ओर से सभी पदाधिकारियों को शुभकामनाएँ दी गई। कार्यक्रम का धन्यवाद ज्ञापन हेडगर्ल प्रत्युषा जैन ने किया

Investiture Ceremony At Dps, Bilaspur


The sun rose through the cool firmament of dawn bringing a warm glow that brought forth a solemn promise for the student’s populace of DPS, Bilaspur. The school honoured its newly elected Students’ Council with badges and sashes.

The special Assembly to mark the occasion began with the Morning Prayer and melodious welcome song by the School Choir. Shri.Bhuvnesh Yadav ,IAS, CEO, Zila Panchayat, Bilaspur was the dignified Chief Guest for the occasion.

Principal Capt. (IN) S.B.Ray introduced the Chief Guest to the gathering followed by an inspiring speech. His speech aroused inspiration and motivation in the hearts of the newly invested Prefects.

Thereafter, members of the new Students Council assembled in the contingent and performed a slow march towards the pavilion and received badges and sashes by the hands of Chief Guest, Principal, Administrative Officer, Academic Coordinator and Hostel in-charge.

After that, Head Boy administered the oath, where the team members took a formal pledge to carry out the duties assigned to them with sincerity and efficiency.

Shri.Bhuvnesh Yadav, IAS Chief Guest addressed the gathering with his motivational words and told that it’s the prime duty of students to be a good citizen and emphasized on all round development of their personality.

After his enlightening speech a vote of thanks was proposed by the Head Girl and with this the graceful occasion came to an end.

‘FRUIT DAY’ CELEBRATED IN DPS,BILASPUR
Pre-Primary Wing of DPS Bilaspur, celebrated “Fruit Day” on 22nd July 2011. On this occasion, children learnt about different fruit names , their colours and their taste. Also various fruit nutrients were described by the children. The students enthusiastically coloured various pictures of fruits and how to make “Fruit salad” was taught by the teachers.

The enthusiasm and zeal of the children was remarkable and was appreciated by our Principal- Capt.[I.N] S.B Ray, Administrative Officer- Lt. Col. Dharmveer Singh and Co-Ordinator Mrs. Rajreet Ray. All the P.P.W teachers contributed to this big day. दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल मे मनाया गया ‘फ्रूट डे’
दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल बिलासपुर के्र प्री प्राइमरी विंग के बच्च¨ं ने 22.07.11 क¨ फ्रूट डे मनाया। इस अवसर पर बच्चों ने फलों के नाम ,रंग तथा उनके गुणों की जानकारी प्राप्त की । बच्चों ने फलों के चित्रों में रंग भरे तथा फ्रूट सलाद बनाना सीखा । बच्चों ने फलों की विषेषताएॅं बताईं और बहुत आनंद उठाया । बच्चों का प्रयास बड़ा ही सराहनीय एवं उत्साहवर्धक रहा।

इस उपलक्ष्य पर प्राचार्य नौसेना कप्तान सलिल बैरन रे, प्रषासनिक अधिकारी कर्नल धर्मवीर सिंह तथा को-आॅर्डिनेटर श्रीमति राजरीत रे ने प्री. प्राइमरी विंग के सभी बच्चों को प्रोत्साहित किया । इस अवसर पर प्री. प्राइमरी विंग के सभी षिक्षिकाओं ने अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज की ।

D.P.S Bilaspur Lifts First Runner-Up Trophy in SHDC 2011



Months of research, designing and preparation squeezed into an eight minute presentation and what have you -proposed designs of Space Habitat, and by school children. The competition was the Space Habitat Design Challenge 2011 organized by Catalyse in partnership with Space Adventures Inc., on 6th-Nov-2011, at Hotel Citrine, Bangalore.

12 school teams were shortlisted from over 100 schools across the country and over two hundred teams. The young scientists in the making, all students of class 9 of DPS Bilaspur – Abhishek Jaiswal, Chitra Raj Singh Chowhan, Devansh Ghatak and Soumya Sharma proved their mettle against schools from Bombay, Delhi etc.

The eminent judges, all established names in Space Technology – Prof. Y.S Rajan, Mr. M.M Nayak, Dr. Lalitha Sundaresan and Prof. Rajaram Nagappa appreciated their space habitat design “Aristaeus”, and the confidence with which they handled the volley of questions. Along with the beautiful trophy- they won a mention in the Gold Hall of Fame and will go to ISRO for the launch of Rohini Civilian Satellite.

स्टेट हैबीटेट डिजाइन चैलेंज में डी. पी. एस. बिलासपुर को द्वितीय पुरस्कार



नौ महीनों के लगातार शोध,अपने विषय पर तमाम तैयारियों को महज आठ मिनिट में समेट कर जो प्रस्तुति डी. पी. एस. बिलासपुर के विद्यार्थियों ने दी उससे निर्णायकगण भी प्रभावित हुए बिना नहीं रह सके। 6नवंबर 2011 को बैंगलोर में स्टेट हैबीटेट डिजाइन चैलेंज का आयोजन कैटालाइज और स्टेट एडवेंचर के तत्वाधान में किया गया। प्रतियोगिता के प्रारंभिक दौर में सौ से ज्यादा विद्यालयों ने हिस्सा लिया,जिनमें से केवल 12 टीमों को प्रस्तुति के लिए बैंगलोर आमंत्रित किया गया। डी. पी. एस. बिलासपुर के कक्षा नवमीं के चार विद्यार्थियों की टीम लिनमें अभिषेक जायसवाल , चित्रराज सिंह चैहान , देवांष घटक , और सौम्या शर्मा शामिल हैं,ने महानगरों की टीमों को पछाड़ते हुए का नाम रोशन किया। निर्णायको की भूमिका में प्रो. वाइ. एस राजन, श्री एम. एम. नायक, डाू. ललिता सुंदराजन और प्रो. राजाराम नागप्पा शामिल थे। बतौर पुरस्कार टीम को ट्राॅफी के साथ ही रोहिनी (सैटेलाइट) के लाँच में इसरो में आमंत्रित भी किया गया है। शाला प्रबंधन , प्राचार्य एवं पूरे डी. पी. एस. परिवार विद्यार्थियों की सफलता से अभिभूत है।
